Brief Information About Halifax Airport (YHZ)
Halifax Airport is an International Airport and is owned by Transport Canada but operated by Halifax Airport Authority since 2000. It is also known as Robert L. Stanfield International Airport and is named after the 17th Prime Minister of Nova Scotia, Robert Stanfield. He was also the leader of the Federal Progressive Conservative Party of Canada. YHZ Airport serves as the headquarters for Chorus Aviation and Canjet and also is the primary hub for Air Canada Express, Cougar Helicopters, Provincial Airlines, Skyline Express and Maritime Air Charter.
