Muscat International Airport Guide
Muscat International Airport is the busiest and the largest airport in Oman. It serves the capital city of Oman and almost 14 km away from its city center. It is used for both, military and public transportation and previously it was known as Seeb International Airport. The airport is a hub for Oman Air which is the national carrier of the country. The airport provides flights to numerous popular destination in the world such as London, Dubai, Cairo, Bangkok and Kuwait.

Money and communication
Several ATMs are located at the airport as well as many money exchange counters. Public phone booths are located throughout the terminal and free Wi-Fi Internet is also provided by the airport. It also has a post office.
Shopping and Food
Numerous shops can be found in the arrivals and departures where passengers can buy a wide range of goods including, clothing, cosmetics, perfumes, alcohol, and gifts.
Many international car rental suppliers including Thrifty, Budget, Hertz and Europcar are located at the airport making pickup and drop off an easy process.
The car parking is located just outside the terminals and offers short and long term stay. Free shuttle bus service is also available between airport and parking area.
Numerous others facilities are also offered by the airport such as conference rooms, medical room, kids changing room, assistance for disabled and a mosque which is situated just outside the terminal building.
